All about September!

I'm pretty excited for September, it's going to be a great month!

Here are some things I'm looking forward to this month:

• The Eagles concert next Wednesday, on the 11th
• Zack Brown Band concert on the 20th
• My fall birdwatching course starts next Sunday (8th)
• Watching the Hawk and Eagle migration, sometime end of Sept, out in the mountains
• School starting again, which means a new class of Kindergarten kids (and a welcome break from last year's group, ugh!)
• possibly going horse back riding in the mountains!
• another mountain hike on the 14th!
• Hockey pre-season starts, GO HABS GO!

One MAJOR NEGATIVE: Stephan leaves tomorrow to go home to Germany for a month.  With the timing of school starting I was unable to go, and the reason his trip is in September and was not during the summer was so he could return home for his Dad's surprise 70th birthday, which got extended to Oktoberfest. So he leaves tomorrow on the 5th, and returns on the 4th (or 5th???) of October. 

But, on the plus side, I have lots to keep myself busy with!  AND, (although this may be silly to some), a Germany trip would have meant no Eagles concert, and they MAY be retiring after this tour, so this could be my one and only chance to see them.  And they are #1 on my list!  We're hoping to go to Germany either this or next Christmas, so we'll see!
